La mar parecía un espejo, aunque venía con "compañía".
Buscando una cobertura completa, dividí la sesión en tres frentes: dentro del agua, desde el muelle y desde el aire. Así consigues esa mezcla entre el esfuerzo individual a ras de agua y la perspectiva estratégica de la trainera a vista de pájaro.Spoilers de trabajar en el mar: me confié con la corriente y me llevé un recuerdo de medusa en el tobillo. Riesgos del oficio, pero fotos así no se hacen desde la barrera.

Itsasoa ispilu bat bezala zegoen, nahiz eta "konpainia" errakitzailearekin etorri.
Etiqutatzeko eta estaldura osoa lortzeko, hiru ikuspuntutik heldu nion lanari: ur barruan, kaian eta airetik. Horrela bakarrik lortzen da uretako ahalegin indibidualaren eta trainerak goitik duen ikuspegi estrategikoaren arteko nahasketa hori.
Itsasoan lan egiteko komeriak: korrontearekin konfiatu nintzen eta marmoka baten oroitgarria eraman nuen niloan. Lanbidearen arriskuak, baina horrelako argazkiak ez dira lehorretik egiten.

The sea was like glass, though we had some unwanted "company."
To get full coverage, I split the shoot into three angles: in the water, from the dock, and up in the air. That’s the best way to capture the balance between the intense individual effort at water level and the strategic bird’s-eye view of the trainera.
Occupational hazards of working in the ocean: I misjudged the current and walked away with a jellyfish sting on my ankle. Comes with the territory, but shots like these aren't made from the sidelines.
